Online poker has become incredibly popular recently, largely because of all the TV time that has been given to the World Series of Poker@ and the World Poker Tour@!  I have to admit, I'm one of those that caught the online poker bug!!  I have been having a ball playing Free Texas Holdem Poker online, and meeting just a TON of people that are just as enthusiastic about it as I am! Tunica MS We went to Tunica to play in a couple of the satillite events surrounding the World Poker Tour Tournament held at Bininos/Lucky Strike. Everyone busted out of the tournament... best of us made it to 168.... a LOT of bad beats.. more like playing online than person to person! ;-) Posted: Friday 25th March 2005, 1:02 AM Binions Horseshoe Went to The Horseshoe the last night of our Vegas Stay. Just wanted to pick up a hat, and check out the 'mecca' of texas holdem poker. Ended up entering a tournament there. 55 Players entered, top 7 places paid. I was fortunate enough to get into the money finishing 6th, so I was happy as all hell!! Posted: Thursday 24th March 2005, 12:15 AM Vegas Was a BUST! Went to Vegas for a week in January.... could not win at anything I played! LOL I had to chock it up to just a bad run of luck! Really played very little poker or texas holdem though! We'll see what comes of it! May look for a small tourney or two to play while I'm there.... Less than two weeks to go, before we head to Vegas for the first week of 2005. Looking forward to playing in a variety of casino's and checking out the poker room action! Ended 2nd for a change ( I usually take 3rd ), so got some cash, and it paid for my re-buy tourney last night! LOL Posted: Friday 24th December 2004, 1:38 AM Re-Buy Tourament Played in a re-buy tournament on Friday night that had 55 players. That was wild.. I usualy dont play re-buy's.... Ended up 13th.... my son made the final's, and won a seat to Tunica in one of the smaller events. Needless to say he's excited.... I think it is important from time to time, to take time away from the game, and re-evaluate. Your mind needs a break to re-group, and help you clarify your game and commitment to it....
